You Are Now Ready to Collect Data

You will travel across the park and stop whenever you spot a dik-dik, Grevy’s zebra, impala, or buffalo. At each location, you will record

  • the animal species
  • GPS coordinates to map the location
  • time of day, and
  • food type (grass or browse)

Additional Information: Browse is a ‘catch-all’ classification for a wide variety of generally woody plants, including shrubs and small trees.

Four large mammals are standing in a grassland: a dik-dik, Cape buffalo, impala, and Grevy's zebra.
