Atmospheric CO2 Over the Past 20,000 Years (Part 3)

It only took 100 years for CO2 to go from 300 to 400 ppm!

The rate of CO2 increase has dramatically quickened in the past 100 years. In fact, CO2 is increasing 100 times faster than at any time in the past 800,000 years.

The same graph as in the previous slides showing carbon dioxide in parts per million from 20,000 years before present to the present day. Two closely spaced vertical lines mark 100 years ago and the present day. An arrow points to the spot where the graph meets the 300 mark and another arrow points to the spot where the graph meets the 400 mark.
