If the electrical stimulation of the sensory neuron does not generate an action potential, it does not activate the synapse to the motor neuron. Therefore, the recording indicates no activity in the motor neuron.
The motor neuron trace is a singular flat horizontal line is on top of the sensory neruon trace which has multiple short peaks in the first half.
