Possible PTC Non-taster Advantages

Scientists have suggested that non-tasters of PTC might be able to taste another substance, which might provide some kind of survival advantage.

PTC taste receptors are also present in the gut and in the lungs. This receptor might have other functions we don’t yet know about that may explain selection.
