The week of September 28, 2015, was a busy week for awards.

On Monday, Your Inner Fish won an award for Outstanding Graphic Design & Art Direction in the 37th News & Documentary Emmy Awards competition.

Then on Thursday at Jackson Hole Wildlife Film Festival, Great Transitions: The Origin of Tetrapods won the award for Best Educational/Institutional Program.

Your Inner Fish was a 2014 television series produced by HHMI’s production company, Tangled Bank Studios, and is based on the best-selling book by leading paleontologist and evolutionary biologist Neil Shubin, a professor at the University of Chicago. The series takes viewers on a cutting-edge, scientific adventure, revealing a startling truth: hidden within the human body is a history of life on Earth. Your Inner Fish was created in collaboration with award-winning producer David Dugan, founder of the UK-based production company Windfall Films. Jellyfish Pictures created the visual effects for the series.

The Origin of Tetrapods was a short film designed for the classroom produced by BioInteractive, based on Episode 1 of the Your Inner Fish series.
